Adelphi Psych Medicine Clinic is located at The Adelphi, a lifestyle mall next to St Andrew’s Cathedral and the National Art Gallery, a three minutes stroll from City Hall MRT, Exit B.

“Adelphi” is a Greek word for “one womb”, signifying universal brotherhood and sisterhood. The Attorney General Chamber’s office operated from The Adelphi between 1992 to 2013. The history of the building and the meaning of the word compelled us to name the clinic:

Our clinicians comprise psychiatrist and therapists who are experienced in their expertise, caring in their approach, passionate in helping their patients and proactively contributing to society. They held clinical leadership positions in the civil service and restructured hospital before entering private service.

Specialised Services

Adelphi Psych Medicine Clinic provides assessment and mental healthcare for students and adults, we specialise in psychotherapy and medico-legal related issues such as mental capacity affecting legal competency.

The clinic offers psychotherapy, an evidence-based therapeutic approach for improving mental health well-being. Psychotherapy is individualized  and may be used together with medication. The types of therapy available include:

  • Play Therapy for Children
  • Art Therapy for Adults and Children
  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
  • Clinical Hypnosis
  • Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR)
  • MBCT (Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy)
  • Clinical Psychiatry
  • Forensic Psychiatry
  • Employee Assistance Programme

Tests available include psychological tests (eg. ADHD, autism, academic achievements) and laboratory investigations (eg. blood investigations). Specialist psychiatric reports for courts, SAF medical boards and insurance related issues can be arranged.

A Clinic Designed For Your Comfort

The clinic is designed with the comfort of our patients and clients in mind. As Singaporeans, we are aware of the costs of living and decided to keep our charges affordable. A typical consultation cost $160. First consultation and psychotherapy session may cost more depending on complexity and duration.

Adelphi Psych Medicine Clinic is a corporate partner of Boy’s Town Singapore where we volunteer.

We are a firm supporter of the Criminal Legal Aid Scheme, which provides legal help for needy offenders in Singapore.
